NEW PROGRAMS FOR THE NEW SCHOLASTIC YEAR

Component Commando

"Component Commando" welcomes students promoting to Primary 4 to Form 6 to participate in this creative and interesting telecommunications workshop. We hope to encourage "Science Freshman", Arts/Commerce students, to participant in interesting hands-on activities and, therefore, discover science together. Students will learn about different electronic components and their functions through the introduction of an interesting story. They will also use their creativity to make their unique personal "Little Component Robot". Finally, they may take photos at the Green Screen Studio with their "Little Component Robots" as their unique backgrounds.

Each student will be charged MOP30.00 (3 hours, 1.5 hours/lesson) for this interesting workshop. Each class will be held for a maximum of 25 students at the E-lab of the Communications Museum. All materials will be provided by the Museum and the final works can be taken away by the students. The content will be adjusted to suit different levels of students. Secondary students also have chance to learn using soldering pencils to connect the electronic parts. Group booking of schools and associations is welcome!
