Communications Museum provides different activities for visitors of different age groups, all of you are welcome to book a visit to our museum.
Communications Museum not only design [EASY SELF-SERVICE VISIT] and [SIMPLE GUIDED VISIT], but also specially design [GUIDED VISIT FOR SENIORS] that senior visitors will be accompanied by our Facilitators to experience the most amusing and popular interactive games in the museum after a simple introduction of the exhibits of both Postal/Philately and Telecommunications Galleries and facilities. [WEEKEND FUN STUDIO] is a "Hands-on, Brains-on" studio hosted by facilitators on Saturdays, motivates visitors of age ranging from 8 to 12, who enjoy collective games and activities, learning through fun.
Communications Museum establishes a fruitful program for the visit of students. Several newly developed items are added to those well accepted of last year. Schools and teachers are welcome to choose suitable items from the Booking Service Guide and let students gain a new experience each time when they visit.
There are two main guided categories for the normal activities of Postal / Philately Gallery and Telecommunication Gallery:
1. [SIMPLE GUIDED VISIT] After a simple introduction by facilitator to the exhibitions of Galleries and facilities, visitors can experience the most amusing and popular interactive games in the Museum freely.
2. [THEMATIC GUIDED VISIT, LIVE DEMONSTRATION AND WORKSHOP] Thematic visits and workshops are planned in accordance with the characteristics of exhibition areas and the levels of students. Facilitators will guide students to visit and participate in "Brains-on, Hands-on" activities.
This year, Communications Museum also provides a [CUSTOM-MADE SCHOOL ACTIVITIES] for a particular school to tailor-made or organize special philatelic or telecommunications activities or workshops. In addition, a series of special activities has been launched to celebrate the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games from 8 August 2008, including thematic activities, like "Olympic Torch and I", "Amazing Stamps of the Olympics", "Olympic Geographic" and "Olympic@Communication". School can still book the visit until to 10 January 2009. Teachers and students are welcome to bring camera to take photos with the real and the cutie torch, watch the uniform of torchbearer and stamps of the Olympics, and try to be a little torchbearer.
