Draw My Story of Stamps Contest

REGULATIONS

1. Objective: To encourage & discover more painters to participate in cultural creative arts & design through stamps.

2. Qualifications:

A. Macao participants:

  • Children group: Age 6~12, born between 01/01/2011~31/12/2017;
  • Youth group: Age 13~18, born between 01/01/2005~31/12/2010.

B. Macao and/or oversea participants - General group: No age limit

3. Requirements on the drawings:

Theme of drawing By extension of concept & content from selected "MACAO CHINA" stamps or souvenir sheets.
Number of work Each participant can only participate in one group and submit one drawing
Others - The drawing must be drawn by hand on an A4 sized (29.5cm x 21cm) drawing paper. Computer graphics/designs will not be accepted.
- The painting material and color are not limited. Except for the souvenir sheet and stamps, no other objects glued on to the drawing will be accepted.
- One complete souvenir sheet, or one or more physical stamps corresponding to the theme must be glued on the drawing. Please note that stamps or souvenir sheets issued before 20/12/1999 and also out of circulation cannot be used.
- Mint or cancelled stamps can be used. If the participant uses counterfeits and/or photocopies stamps, the drawing will be counted as a disqualified entry.

4. Prize:

Merit Award * 3 winners for each group. Each winner will get MOP500 cash prize.
Guidance Teacher All guidance teachers of the Children and Youth groups will be presented with souvenirs. But the souvenirs will not be repeatedly given to the same person.
Participation Award A trophy will be awarded to the school or association that has submitted the most number of works meeting the entry requirements.
Remarks - Winning entries will obtain certificates, cash prizes and trophies.
* Oversea winners will obtain equivalent philatelic products.

5. Registration and submission dates:

  • Completed Registration Form should be fixed on the back of submitted drawing before submit directly in person or post to Communications Museum, drawings without a posted registration form will not be evaluated.
  • Opening hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm from Monday to Sunday, closed on public holidays.
  • Deadline for submission: 5:30pm on 31/07/2023 (Monday). Late submissions will not be evaluated.

6. Evaluation: The organizer will invite professionals in the fields of art, stamps and culture to be the judges. The results are subject to the final judgment of the judges.

7. Declaration

  • Personal data collected in the Registration Form will only be used for the arrangement of the activity and handled according to the "Personnel Data Collection Policy Statement of CTT".
  • All submitted entries will be exhibited in the Communications Museum and other location. The Organizer reserves the rights to film, publish, translate, display and promote the entries without prior permission of the participants or remuneration.
  • The submitted drawings will not be returned to the participants. CTT owns the copyright and usage right of the winning drawings.
  • If a prize-winning work were a product of plagiarism, any prize awarded will be considered null and void, and any prize paid will be recovered.
