Communications Museum "Junior Philately Camp"
  1. Objective: To increase children's knowledge about philately in a fun-learning environment through a series of philately workshops.
  2. Organizer: Communications Museum
  3. Duration: 11-12/08/2011, 10:00 am to 5 pm on both days
  4. Venue: Macao Post, Communications Museum
  5. Content: Introduction about production process of stamps, visits & games, stamp album and workshops.
  6. Participants: Maximum 20
  7. Fees: MOP80 (Includes lunch for 2 days, transportation, insurance and material costs).
  8. Audience: Students promoting to Primary 4, 5 and 6. If the registered number of participants is less than 10, Museum has the right to cancel the activity and refund.
  9. Registration: From now till 31/07/2011, at the Reception of Communications Museum.

  1. How Macao Stamps are Made: Production process of stamps.
  2. Visit Macao Post: Philatelic Products Production and Parcel Area.
  3. Stamps Kaleidoscope + Pillar Box DIY: Appreciate stamps of different countries and stamps made of special materials. Make mini pillar box by hand.
  4. Kids, Let's Collect Stamps: Introduction of stamp elements.
  5. Let's make a stamp album: Participants to design and make their personal stamp album for exhibition.
  6. Each participant is invited to bring 6 to 8 stamps for the stamp album workshop (new or old stamps can be used).
