2007 - "My Communications Museum of Macao" Book Creation Competition

Theme: Communications Museum of Macao 

To write a text or make a design, drawing or collage regarding what you have learned, what you have liked the most, or your feeling after the visit of the Communications Museum of Macao.

Definition

Text and graphics, with complete freedom, using any presentation technique and material, in color or in black & white, on both sides of the drawing paper provided by the museum.

Objective

To promote the joy of knowledge, to enhance deeper identification and close relationship between students and the Museum.

Participants

Full-time primary school students of Macao can participate. 

Category

Group A: Students of Primary 1 and 2;
Group B: Students of Primary 3 and 4;
Group C: Students of Primary 5 and 6.

Prizes

• Group A: Prizes of 1st / 2nd / 3rd, with trophy, book vouchers MOP 300 / MOP 250 / MOP 200 & souvenir.
• Group B: Prizes of 1st / 2nd / 3rd, with trophy, book vouchers MOP 400 / MOP 350 / MOP 300 & souvenir. 
• Group C: Prizes of 1st / 2nd / 3rd, with trophy, book vouchers MOP 600 / MOP 550 / MOP 500 & souvenir.

Participation and Submission

• The work must be related to the theme. 
• Each class may submit with a maximum of TWO works.
• No limitation for pages of each work, but the minimum is 10 pages. 
• Schools/teachers can request for drawing paper by telephone or during the visit to the museum. 

Submission of Works

• All works can be submitted from 1 July 2007 to 30 December 2007.
• All works must be sent to the Communications Museum of Macao, Estrada de D. Maria II, no.7, Macao SAR.
• Each work must be attached with an Application Form. 
• All works can be sent by hand or by mail to the museum. 
• The Communications Museum of Macao will not take responsibility for eventual damage of works by mail and/or by hand.

Rejected Works

Works not complying with the defined format or the theme will be rejected. 

Judgment

• All works will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the group category. Three prizes will be awarded for each category.
• Decision made by the judges invited by Organizer will be considered final and appeals are not accepted.
• All works will be displayed in the Museum Gallery.

The Communications Museum of Macao / Macao Post will reserve all rights to use, reproduce and/or publish all submitted works.

Remarks

Any issue not covered in the Regulation and clarification of doubts will be of the exclusive competence of the Organizer (Communications Museum of Macao / Macao Post).
