Cellular Mobile Phone Network

The network coverage allows users to move freely during a call, and the call is seamlessly transmitted between adjacent communication base stations.

In a mobile phone network system, the network coverage is divided into small "cells", usually in the shape of a hexagonal honeycomb, but other shapes such as squares and circles can also be used. Each network element is assigned multiple frequencies and has a corresponding base station. Different cells can use the same base station frequency, but adjacent cells cannot use the same frequency to avoid cross-channel interference.
