2009 SUMMER ACTIVITES ? ORGANIZED JOINTLY BYCOMMUNICATIONS MUSEUM AND EDUCATION AND YOUTH AFFAIRS BUREAU

This year, Communications Museum expands further the topics of its summer vacation curriculum jointly organized with Education & Youth Bureau. The museum organizes six funny and knowledgeable activities to encourage young participants to learn during their leisure time in July and August.

The challenging "brains-on, hands-on" activities include four workshops. "Elementary Electronic Circuits" is a course for learning the construction of simple circuits with basic electronic elements and soldering technique. "Construction of Digital Circuits" is an advance course to study the function of hybrid circuit and its application. The two workshops "Production of Wind Power Generator" and "Production of Electromagnetic Crane" are the themes of the museum?s Electronic Device Construction Competition in 2008 & 2009, focusing on the in-depth understanding of electricity and electromagnetic through experiment.

Communications Museums also organizes two dynamic workshops in order to narrow the distance between visitors. "Have Fun in Stamp Collection" is a motional workshop to share the interests of stamp collection through mini-seminars and interactive games and participants can make their own stamp album and join the funny party. "Discovery of Postal Services" is a very interesting workshop, participants can learn the works of postmen through role-play activities, discover the fantasy of postal services, visit the Mails Handling and Delivery Center of Macao Post and make a tradition mailbox for self collection.
