Postal Boxes for Collection of Correspondence are postal facilities installed in various locations for people to send their Correspondence. In order to help people in posting Correspondence, different kinds of Postal Boxes were installed in the streets. There are Pillar Boxes standing erect at the street corners and various types of Letter Boxes attached to poles or walls.

In August of 1910, the first Pillar Boxes were installed at different locations on Macao streets, and as early as in year 1892, Letter Boxes were already put on board ships to collect Correspondence.
