Booking Activities for Schools & Institutes

Make a Pose - Santa Claus
Welcome to bring cameras and take photos at the Santa Claus background!
Personal Picture Postcard
After taking the picture and selecting the background, visitors can print their postcards by placing their Entrance Cards against the card reader. In addition to mailing the postcard by buying a stamp at the Museum Shop, visitors can also download their postcards from the museum website (http://macao.communications.museum/eng/services/postcard/index.html) by inputting the code printed on the upper right-hand corner of the postcard. Moreover they can write their own messages and email the postcard to their friends.
Design Your Own Stamp
Visitors can choose their favorite images and backgrounds to compose the stamps. Then they can print out the stamps by activating the printer with their Entrance Cards. After perforating the stamps, visitors can use it to make bookmarks or other items.
Large Stamp Projection
Show virtual Christmas and Year of the Rabbit stamps from all over the world.
Greenscreen Studio
Visitors can choose the background and then take photos by activating the camera with their Entrance Cards. They can choose among the colored, nostalgic or black-and-white printing effects. If you want to try being "invisible", you may hold the green cloth and then see what happens.
Labyrinth of Electric Circuits
Communications Museum designs and creates this interactive game by making use of the characteristics of conductors and insulators and the theories of closed electric circuits. Smart visitors like you can surely find the way out from the labyrinth!
Word-Fishing Fun
This activity requires advance booking. This interactive word encoding and decoding game is suitable for Primary students.

Workshops

Bunny X'mas Card
This activity is for the public. For family visitors, the parents may make the special Christmas card together with their children. All materials will be provided by Communications Museum. The timetable of the workshop will be announced in the exhibition gallery.
X'mas Postal Car
This activity is for the public. For family visitors, the parents may make the special Christmas postal car together with their children. All materials will be provided by Communications Museum. The timetable of the workshop will be announced in the exhibition gallery.
Labyrinth of Electric Circuits
This activity is for the public. For family visitors, the parents may make the labyrinth of electric circuits together with their children. All materials will be provided by Communications Museum. The timetable of the workshop will be announced in the exhibition gallery.

General Guided Visit

Basic Guided Visit
This general guided visit requires advance booking. It is suitable for students from Kindergarten 2 to Primary 6. Facilitators will guide a simple tour of the major exhibitions in the museum.

Thematic Guided Visit

Perfect Decoding Detective
This thematic guided visit requires advance booking. It is suitable for students from Primary 1 to 3. We shall explain the process of coding, sending, receiving and decoding to students by means of some communication methods used in the old days. Kangaroo Ah Sing will introduce his various ID cards and their usages. Have you ever noticed your student ID and number? What kinds of messages are included? You are invited to be the detective to decode this.
Ultimate Decoding Detective
This thematic guided visit requires advance booking. It is suitable for students from Primary 4 to 6. From the different ID cards that Kangaroo Ah Sing has, we realize that not only ID cards include a lot of encoded and personal information. In our daily lives, food, clothing, housing and transportation are also encoded. Students will be invited to be the detective to investigate on the advantages of coding and to use decoding tools to discover the hidden messages on the coded objects.
