Draw My Story of Stamps

REGULATIONS

I. Objective:

To encourage and discover more painters to participate in cultural creative arts and design through stamps.

II. Qualifications:

Students of Macao schools can individually participate in either the Primary Student or Secondary Student Category. The General Category (Macao residents) has no age limit and all are welcomed. Each participant can only submit one drawing.

III. Requirements on the drawings:

  • The drawing must be about the stamp or souvenir sheet issue(s) of "Macao China".
  • The drawing must be drawn by hand on an A4-sized (29.5cm x 21cm) white drawing paper. Computer graphics/designs will not be accepted.
  • The drawing must have glued on it one complete souvenir sheet, or one or more complete stamps.
  • The painting material and color are not limited. But, except for the souvenir sheet and stamps, no other objects glued to the drawing will be accepted.

Appreciation Award 5 winners for each category. Certificate, stamp album.
Guidance Teacher All guidance teachers of the Primary Student and Secondary Student categories will be presented with souvenirs. But the souvenirs will not be repeatedly given to the same person.

V. Registration and submission dates:

  • Send by post or submit the completed Registration Form and drawing in person to Communications Museum.
  • Opening hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm from Tuesdays to Sundays
  • Deadline for submission: 5:30pm on 6 December, 2013 (Friday)

VI. Evaluation:

The organizer will invite professionals in the fields of art, stamps and culture to be the judges. The results are subject to the final judgment of the judges.

VII. Award Presentation:

1 March, 2014.

VIII. Declaration

  • Personal data collected in the Registration Form will only be used for the arrangement of the activity and handled according to the "Personnel Data Collection Policy Statement" of Macao Post.
  • All submitted entries will be exhibited in the Communications Museum. The Organizer reserves the rights to film, publish, translate, display and promote the entries without prior permission of the participants or remuneration.
  • The submitted drawings will not be returned to the participants. Macao Post owns the copyright and usage right of the winning drawings.
  • If a prize-winning work were a product of plagiarism, any prize awarded will be considered null and void, any prize paid will be recovered.
